IEA Announces Referral Program for IEA Coaches

Monday, June 6, 2016, Columbus, Ohio - The Interscholastic Equestrain Association (IEA) is pleased to announce that it will continue the member Referral Program for the 2016-2017 season.  Membership enrollment is available now through November 1, 2016.

The Referral Program provides adult IEA members with a cash reward for each new equine professional member they refer to the IEA.   There is no limit to how many rewards a member can accrue, and anyone interested in promoting the IEA is encouraged to contact the IEA Membership Office for ideas and promotional supplies.

In a survey done early last year, more than 85% of IEA members reported that they joined the organization after learning about it from a current member.  Hoping to reward adult members who contribute to the success of the organization, the IEA began the Referral Program in 2015.

"The Referral Program held during the 2015-2016 membership year was a great success, bringing in 36 new coaches, creating 48 new teams and enrolling 268 new rider members," said Jennifer Eaton, IEA Membership Marketing Coordinator, "The IEA considers that a great success and the first step in recognizing our members for all of their hard work."

Any adult IEA member is eligible to participate in the Referral Program.  Anyone interested in learning more should contact the IEA Membership Office at Info@rideiea.org /877-RIDEIEA (877-743-3432).

About the IEA:
Founded in 2002, the IEA has more than 12,500 middle and high school student-riders across the United States.  The IEA was organized to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students and is open to public and private schools and barn teams. Its purpose is to set minimum standards for competition, provide information concerning the creation and development of school associated equestrian sport programs, to generally promote the common interests of safe riding instruction and competition and education on matters related to equestrian competition at the middle and secondary school levels.
