Hott Horse Shows and Maffitt Lake Equestrian Center would like to announce the addition of Coulter Horse Transportation to its family of sponsors for the 2012 show season.  “We are really excited to support Hott Horse Shows”, said Clint Coulter, owner of Coulter Horse Transportation.  “We pride ourselves in shipping top level horses throughout the country with the highest safety standards and the least amount of stress on the horses and the owners”, said Coulter.  “Maffitt Lake Equestrian Center is always a destination for us and we are happy to support them!” he added.

Coulter Horse Transportation was founded in 1999 by Clint Coulter and has since then grown into a business that transports horses coast to coast.  Coulter Horse Transportation is renowned for providing peace of mind to horse owners since they know their horses have the highest standard of care and the safest transportation while traveling on Coulter Horse Transportation trucks.  Horses have access to hay and water for the entire trip and all trailers are equipped with video surveillance cameras so the drivers can check on the horses while in transit.  Customer service is 24 hours and is also the foundation of the Coulter Horse Transportation business.

“We are thrilled to welcome Coulter Horse Transportation as a sponsor of Maffitt Lake Equestrian and Hott Horse Shows”, said Libby Hott.  “We know our customers trust Coulter and place the highest level of confidence in Coulter’s ability to ship their prized horses to our show grounds from all over the country.”   Make sure to schedule your horses’ next trip by contacting Coulter Horse Transportation at 352-804-8206 or email them at

Hott Horse Shows Summer Festival I at Maffitt Lake Equestrian Center kicked off on Wednesday to the sound of thundering hooves, as record entries competed in the hunters and jumpers.  “Our entries are strong and we also had a lot of last minute adds --the rings were just rocking,” said Libby Hott, owner of Maffitt Lake Equestrian Center.

The Graham Grand Prix Arena will host a wealth of jumper classes ranging from classes for the young horses to the seasoned professionals and riders, while the Main Hunter ring will provide the same sort of offerings for all horses and riders.  Opening week will feature the $25,000 Harley Hott Grand Prix on Saturday night and Sunday evening will feature the $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby.  Don’t miss the Exhibitor Party of the year this Sunday night, sponsored by Troy and Laura Linback of Woodrun Farm, where the steaks will be cooking and the bar will be open!  And, don’t forget your dancing shoes, because the music will last way into the evening!
