Ocala, FL - March 13, 2017 - If you've never been to Live Oak International in Ocala, Florida, you're definitely missing out. The show hosts world class combined driving and show jumping competition with perfection, which is the only way for host Chester Weber. The event was held March 9th-12th this year at Weber's beautiful Live Oak Plantation, just minutes away from the HITS Post Time Farm.
The event features the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Qualifier Grand Prix, presented by Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club, which is the last event for rider's to qualify for the 2017 LONGINES FEI World Cup Jumping & FEI Dressage Finals held March 27-April 2, 2017 at the CenturyLink Center Omaha. Qualifying classes for Sunday's event were held Friday and Saturday.
In addition to FEI driving and show jumping competition, the event features a selection of food, vendors and the Express Clydesdales. The Charles Owen Competitor's Club is open daily with fabulous ringside seating and superior VIP seating also available to take in the show jumping. Victory Gallop for Babalou and Minikus
Germany's Andre Thieme finished second and earned the Leading Rider Award.
Canada's Nicole Walker also won a leading rider award.
Lead line riders and a loose dog stole the show for a moment.
Jessica Springsteen and Davendy took a blue on Friday.
Sharn Wordley and Lucy Deslauriers took a victory gallop on Friday as well.
Andrew Ramsay and Stranger won Saturday's tough qualifier.
